FASTING

Matthew 17:20-21 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting." Fasting is a time to draw near to God by refraining and restraining from food or activities that direct our attention away from him. There are times that we feel that we cannot pray for ourselves; where two are three are gathered, He is in the midst. If you feel that you cannot fast or are not strong enough to fast, we will stand in agreement with you.
